How should I do my hair for prom.?

My prom is May 2nd and I've no idea what Im going to do with my hair. Its naturally black with lots of layers. My longest layer is about 4 inches past my shoulders. It's pretty thick, and it has some natural curl/wave.
Im scared to do anything with my hair being completely up because of my face shape [round].

First of all like the dress.. very prom appropriate... Secondly I like what u have in mind for ur hair.. Or u could also have a nice bun or something or any kind of updo but only sitting on ur neck.. I have a round face too and i know what u mean.. something fancy but subtle will be nice..
