Bridesmaid help what do you think?

So a little background. Its going to be a big Italian/African american wedding. I have 10 bridesmaids and 2 Maids of honor. The colors are black, silver and royal blue. We are going for a "starry night" kinda theme. The ceremony is going to be in a Catholic church. I love these dresses for everyone but I don't know if it would be a little too much. Would they be appropriate for a Catholic church if they had a shawl? here is the dress I want the girls to wear

I don't know if you noticed, but you were in the special occasion category instead of bridesmaids category. There are distinctive differences in each type of dress, period. It doesn't matter which store or site you go to, you will find the same breakdown in categories.

If you look to the left when you choose special occasion, it gives you a breakdown of which dress is appropriate for which person/event. Such as wedding guest, mother of the bride, etc. Your two links are party dresses, not dresses for a bridal party. I doubt many women would even wear the first dress to a wedding, even as a guest. It's strictly party! Also, both dresses are for older women; first one wouldn't be worn in the church.

It would be a good idea if you visited a bridal salon, so that you can get professional advice. In the meantime, look at other sites so that you can really see what the differences are in dress types/styles. Good luck.
