Coro Jewelry Brooch - Estimated Value?
It's a silver brooch, about 1 1/2", and looks like two feathers the meet at the ends and form a circle. They're not exactly like feathers, though.. More like moon shaped but with feathered edges. Kind of like.. tails? It belonged to my great aunt, who recently passed on, and we found this among her things. Just wondering whether we should keep it under lock and key or not. Coro brooches are not of particular value. The sterling silver gold plated ones from the 1920 to 1940s are sought after as well as the duette brooches. You would have to find a collector that is looking for this particular piece to get some sort of decent money for this.
If you want, you can do some more research on second hand jewelry sites like ebay.com and rubylane.com to find out a bit more about value of coro pieces.
My suggestion is to keep this as a sentimental piece.
